What style of photography do you shoot?
I’m a photojournalist by trade, so my natural shooting style focuses on capturing the moment as it unfolds, not staging or recreating an experience. I tell the entire story of your wedding, from start to finish, in photographs. I work behind the scenes; photographing subjects in their purest form and capturing the genuine emotion of your celebration. I do, however, devote time during the event for posed portraits of the bride and groom, the wedding party and family.
How many photos will you deliver?
On average, I present my clients with 700 to 1,000 high-quality, print ready photographs on a DVD. This number varies with the length and size of the ceremony and reception. Most of my clients hire me to document the entire wedding experience, from the rehearsal dinner to the very end of the reception.
Can we e-mail the photos to friends or put them on our Facebook page?
When I deliver the photographs to you, the images are yours to print or share as you wish. Put them in an on-line album or print them on a billboard: It’s up to you.
When will we receive our photographs?
Some of the hardest work of wedding photography begins after the reception has ended. Cataloging and adjusting the photographs into a finished product requires hours in front of the computer. I deliver the photographs to my clients in two weeks, usually earlier.
Do you shoot in black & white?
Yes. Some clients prefer I shoot exclusively in black & white, while others prefer a few images thrown in along with the color images. The beauty of digital photography is that you can have both. I am very willing to work with you to achieve the look you desire.
Will you travel to my destination wedding?
Typically, yes. Naturally, it depends on where and when, as well as what accommodations and travel expenses are required. Let me know what you have in mind. Travel time to most locations in Western Washington is included in my packages.
What type of equipment do you use?
I use the latest digital technology from Nikon to deliver to you the best image possible. I use professional lenses from 17mm to 500mm to capture every angle.
